Fergana Oil Refinery: Steady progress in modernization and new achievements

As part of the implementation of the modernization program, the Fergana Oil Refinery is confidently moving towards achieving the intended goals, which will allow the enterprise to reach a new level of technological and production development. The overall progress of work on the implementation of the EPC contract, covering work on design, supply of equipment and construction of new and reconstructed facilities of the plant has reached more than 55%, and today we can talk about significant successes at all key stages of the project.

The modernization of the Fergana Oil Refinery is aimed at introducing advanced technologies, raising environmental standards and improving the overall performance of the plant. At the moment, work is actively underway at the facility in a number of priority areas:

Foundation works - 82% complete

New residential complex with administrative buildings - 100%

Installation of metal structures - 74%

Concrete works - 90%

Water blocks of the new cooling system - 47%

New steam boiler - 99%

Administrative and household complex - 37%

New tank farm - 87%

Hydrocracking unit - 35%

Substation and control building No. 1 - 83%

Pressure swing adsorption (PSA) unit - 62%

Hydrogen production plant - 100%

Metalworking plant and mechanical repair shops - 65%

Central control room - 94%

Central laboratory - 40%

To implement the large-scale modernization program, 1,057 employees of the general contractor have been mobilized and 129 units of specialized equipment have been used. During the reconstruction, the Fergana Oil Refinery strives not only to increase production capacity, but also to lay the foundation for sustainable and environmentally responsible development of the enterprise in the future.
