Living legend of the Fergana oil refinery: Akhunjon Artikov is a mentor and teacher of entire generations

On the eve of October 1, Teachers and Mentors Day, the Fergana Oil Refinery honors its veteran and true teacher, Akhunjon Artikov. His story is a 52-year-long career, an example of dedication to his work and care for new generations of specialists, to whom he has passed on his knowledge and experience over the decades.

Akhunjon Artikov came to the Fergana Oil Refinery in 1958, as a young mechanic in power shop No. 7, and from the very first days he showed himself to be a true professional. Over the years, he worked his way up to the head of shop No. 16 for metal processing, where he worked until his well-deserved retirement in 2010. "The work was hard, but it toughened us up and taught us to overcome difficulties," the veteran recalls. Over these years, he has become the living embodiment of fortitude and professionalism.

Akhunjon Artikov's contribution to the development of the plant and the industry as a whole is hard to overestimate. But his most valuable legacy is the dozens of young specialists who, thanks to his mentoring, became experienced professionals. He taught them not only the intricacies of the profession, but also work discipline, love for their work and respect for work.

“Teaching is a calling,” says Akhunjon Artikov . - "For me, the most important thing was to teach young people responsibility and dedication to their work. The plant is a place where each of us builds the future, contributes to the development of our country and the well-being of the people".

When asked what he is most proud of, Akhunjon Artikov answers without hesitation: "My students." After all, many of those he trained now occupy leading positions at the plant and continue to implement new technologies and quality standards. "I am happy that my knowledge and experience were not wasted, but continue to live in my students," he adds.

Today, when the Fergana Oil Refinery is actively developing and introducing modern technologies, people like Akhunjon Artikov, remain a symbol of continuity and loyalty to their business. By his example, he proved that the success of an enterprise depends not only on modern technologies, but also on knowledge and experience passed down from generation to generation.

On the eve of Teachers and Mentors Day, the entire staff of the Fergana Oil Refinery expresses gratitude and respect to their veteran and true teacher - Akhunjon Artikov. Your work and dedication to the plant will forever remain in the memory of the team and will inspire new generations of specialists.
