From October 3 to 4, Saneg General Director Tulkin Yusupov made a working visit to the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant.
During the meetings of the General Director with the management and staff of the Federal Refinery, issues of production activities, the progress of the modernization project and the prospects for the development of the enterprise were discussed. The plant’s employees presented a report on the results of the the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant’s work for 9 months, as well as a plan for achieving current production tasks. “Today the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant is undergoing large-scale renovation processes. For a company with long-standing traditions and values, this is an extremely important moment. If currently the processing volume is about 1.5 million tons of raw materials per year, then as a result of modernization and attracted investments this figure will be doubled. We came across with the task of providing the residents of Uzbekistan with their own highly liquid fuel, which will meet international standards of environmental friendliness and safety,” Yusupov noted.
Also, during the visit, the General Director of Saneg inspected key existing production facilities, as well as new ones included in the modernization project, where he talked with the engineering staff serving them.
Thus, by the end of the year, the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant is scheduled to commission a hydrogen production unit and a steam boiler house. In particular, the launch of a hydrogen production unit will make it possible to master the production of Euro-5 diesel fuel at the existing diesel fuel hydrodesulfurization unit (HDS), and the steam boiler house will ensure the production of its own steam.
During the meetings, the General Director of Saneg paid special attention to the creation of measures to ensure continuity of production, rational use of energy and natural resources, as well as further increase in human resources. “Currently, each business area of Saneg is reaching a qualitatively new level of development. In this regard, Fergana Oil Refinery Plant has accumulated significant potential – production and human. It is important for us to ensure the synchronization of the development of these areas in order to achieve our goals in our activities,” Yusupov said.
