This holiday was proclaimed in 2012 by the UN. The idea to celebrate this holiday at the international level belongs to the non-profit organization Plan, which works to protect the rights of children in 50 countries. Fergana Oil Refinery Plant shares the values of equality and freedom of women in society. Today, the plant has a specialist in the protection of women's labor rights. In addition, all employees of the plant receive comprehensive support from the administration of the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant.
The event was attended by more than 30 women working in different departments of the company. They showed their skills and abilities: reading poems, demonstrating national fashionable clothes, as well as in other exciting competitions.
“- First of all, I congratulate all the ladies and women on this holiday. Today's holiday was held for the first time at our plant, the women of our enterprise are very happy about this. The plant practices an approach to equal distribution of labor between women and men. At the moment, about 1,500 representatives of the fair sex work at the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant. The management of the plant always supports our women,” said Otabek Fozilov, head of the department.
At the end of the event, the administration of the plant presented souvenirs to the participants of the event, as well as to the most distinguished workers.
