Clarity. Speed. Professionalism – Tactical Training at Fergana Refinery

A practical tactical training exercise was held at Fergana Refinery with participation from the Fergana Regional Emergency Management Department, the plant’s fire safety unit, the gas-rescue team, AVT‑2 unit personnel from Workshop 1, and emergency medical services staff. The exercises aimed to improve emergency preparedness, inter-service coordination, and rapid response capabilities.

  • The training tested the refinery’s emergency notification system, inter-departmental coordination, and use of modern technical equipment.
  • The refinery employs approximately 3,500 personnel, all of whom regularly undergo safety training.

Bakhrom Nuriev, Deputy Head of the Emergency Department at Fergana Refinery facilities, stated:

“These exercises prepare our staff to act swiftly and accurately in real threat scenarios. Ensuring industrial and fire safety remains a top priority for the refinery.”

Fergana Refinery spans approximately 400 hectares, with production capacity covering around 60 types of products. International standards ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 are implemented and constantly monitored to ensure quality, occupational health, and environmental protection.
