Saneg presented the oils and lubricants plant in Bari as part of its production complex

The grand opening of the plant in the industrial zone of Bari (Italy) was held in the presence of Deputy Mayor Eugenio Di Sciascio and Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy Abat Fayzullayev.

The representative of the Italian side, Eugenio Di Sciascio, welcomed Saneg to the Puglia region and promised support in the activities of the Uzbek company. The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Italy, Abat Fayzullayev, noted the importance of implementing such projects of interstate integration and production.

The guests and employees were presented with plans for the development of the Saneg lubricants business, an updated brand design and related new opportunities to provide Italian and Uzbek consumers with high-quality products.

Saneg products manufactured at the Bari plant will be presented in the markets of Italy, Greece, France, Spain and other European countries. At the same time, it will be supplied to Uzbekistan and Central Asian countries.

"The strategic goal of Saneg is the transition from the production and sale of base oils to the production and sale of commercial products – motor, transmission, various types of industrial oils. Currently, the Italian site is working on the formation of a product range and the necessary formulations. In the future, it is planned to localize European technologies and part of the product range at the Ferghana Refinery", - said Tulkin Yusupov, CEO of Saneg.

Recall that in February of this year, Saneg announced the acquisition of CGC Lubricants Italy S.P.A, an Italian manufacturer of high-quality automotive and industrial oils and lubricants. As a result of the deal, CGC Lubricants Italy was renamed SANEG OIL ITALY S.P.A.

The acquisition of the plant will make Saneg the first company in Uzbekistan to build a complete production chain from oil production, refining it at the Ferghana refinery to the production of base oils and final marketable products in the form of a wide range of lubricants.
