Friendly relations have been established between the Ferghana Oil Refinery Plant(FORP) and Uzbekistan GTL in the field of exchange of experience of young specialists.
In this regard, 26 young specialists from Uzbekistan GTL were sent to the FORP, among them employees of the energy and instrumentation department, who visited the plant in order to strengthen the theoretical and practical knowledge gained and familiarize themselves with the production process of the FORP.
As part of the internship, a presentation of the plant was held, which included a demonstration of the production process of the enterprise, after which questions of interest were asked to the deputy chief technologist of the FORP Bakhtiyor Akramov.
Under the guidance of the heads of the workshop “Preparation of primary oil refining and Catholic reformation” Shomuradov Azizbek, the head of workshop No. 2 “Production of petroleum bitumen and petroleum coke” Farukh Karimov and the head of workshop No. 8 “Electric supply” Rustam Ergashev, an internship was organized for young specialists get acquainted with the technological process of the main production shops and the work in the field of maintenance of instrumentation and power supply networks.
Also, a specialist of the engineering department, an engineer for shut-off and control valves, Jamoliddin Muydinov, acquainted the trainees with the ongoing changes in the reconstruction and modernization at the plant, to which Saneg is attracting investments in the amount of more than 400 million US dollars. Upon completion of the modernization, by 2024, the FOR will be able to double the processing of raw materials - up to 2 million tons per year and Zincrease the depth of hydrocarbon processing - from 87% to 92%.
“Our young specialists got acquainted with the production activities of the plant for fifteen days, and were directly involved in these processes. We saw that many experienced employees work at the plant. They took over a lot of experience. Huge gratitude to the administration of the plant for organizing such an event,” said Abdulaziz Ulugbekovich, a leading specialist in the business development and project management department of the GTL Uzbekistan plant.
“A lot of highly qualified specialists work at our plant. This was confirmed by the guests who visited the plant during the practice. Our specialists trained young specialists in what they know themselves, and we hope that the young guys who visited the plant received the knowledge they need,” says Feruza Boltaboeva, Deputy Director for Human Resources at the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant.
In the future, the arrival of specialists from the Ferghana Oil Refinery to exchange experience in Uzbekistan GTL is being discussed.
