Fergana Oil Refinery Plant LLC announces competition among talented, creative and promising university students “The Youth on the Way to the Third Renaissance”.

In accordance with the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan RCM No. 222 “On measures to support talented youth engaged in scientific and innovative activities” dated April 19, 2021, Fergana Oil Refinery Plant LLC announces competition among talented, creative and promising university students. “The Youth on the Way to the Third Renaissance”.

 

 

 

The competition is held on the following topics:

 

II. Improvement of oil refining technology:

 

 

- improving the quality of products and increasing the range;

- reducing the cost of reagents, additives and increasing their efficiency;

- import substitution of reagents used in oil refining;

- consideration and implementation of proposals for changing the technological flows of raw materials and oil products in order to increase the potential for energy efficiency of heat exchange processes;

 

 

 

II. Optimization of operating costs and technological losses during oil refining:

 

- reduction of consumption of electricity, thermal energy, fuel;

- development and implementation of efficient heat-insulating materials;

- optimization of fuel combustion mode in process furnaces;

- reduction of fuel consumption in the furnaces of the plant due to controlled combustion of fuel (air + fuel mixture) and recuperation of air supplied to the furnace burners;

- reduction of electricity consumption due to the use of frequency converters, soft starts on the relevant electrical equipment (air units, pumps, compressors, etc.).

- development of a methodology for determining product losses from technological operations for loading products, technological transfers, preparing products for certification and maintaining their quality (automatic release from commercial water and minimizing losses during this operation);

- introduction of alternative energy sources.

 

 

III. Reducing the ecological burden of the Fergana Oil Refinery Plant on the environment and increasing the degree of industrial safety and labor protection:

 

 - development of technology for the use of drainage polluted water for reuse;

- import substitution of chemical reagents, flocculants, coagulants for production and treatment facilities.

- thermotechnical studies of the operation of technological furnaces;

- the use of sealed systems when draining oil and oil products from tank cars;

- solution of problems of waste alkali utilization;

- introduction of IT technology in oil refining.

 

 Conditions for participation in the competition “The Youth on the Way to the Third Renaissance”:

  1. The age of the project initiator should not exceed 35 years, regardless of the academic degree, title, position and place of work;
  2. 1 participant with 1 innovative idea (research project);
  3. The amount of the submitted research project should not exceed 200 times the amount of the basic estimated value (BV) of the Republic of Uzbekistan

(54 million sums);

  1. The duration of the competition is 2 months.

Application deadline: March 14, 2022.

 

List of documents required for participation in the program:

  1. Objective of the candidate, a copy of the passport or identity card,

2 color photographs on a white background, 3x4 cm.

  1. Letter of recommendation (letter of recommendation from an active scientific organization or higher educational institution for participation in the competition).
  2. Fill out the application in the prescribed form in accordance with Appendix No. 1.
  3. Information on an innovative or developmental project in accordance with the attached form in accordance with Appendix No. 2.

Note: The authors of innovative ideas are personally responsible for the accuracy and reliability of the information in the submitted projects, the full and timely implementation of the expected results defined in the tasks of the competitive programs.
