The long-standing cooperation between the Fergana Oil Refinery and the Fergana State Technical University has entered a new stage of development. The memorandum signed between the parties is aimed at strengthening the integration of education, science and industry, as well as training modern and competitive specialists for the oil and gas sector.
Within the framework of the partnership, university students have the opportunity to complete internships at the refinery, participate in real technological processes and apply their theoretical knowledge directly in production activities. Some students are also defending their graduation projects on topics related to the refinery’s operations.
Innovative projects and technological solutions proposed by future specialists are reviewed and analyzed by the refinery’s leading engineers, technical experts and experienced professionals. Particular attention is paid to research focused on optimizing technological processes, improving production efficiency and ensuring environmental safety.
The memorandum also provides for the development of dual education programs, the involvement of industry professionals in the educational process, and the integration of student internships and scientific research with real production tasks.
